GMC is shaking things up in the SUV segment. The American carmaker recently unveiled the newly-redesigned 2016 GMC Terrain, showcasing the popular SUV’s bold, new design. Through a combination of space, design, and technology, GMC has made the Terrain even more appealing than ever before.
“Terrain is a popular choice in the growing compact SUV segment, introducing drivers to GMC’s professional grade design and features,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of GMC Sales and Marketing. “The changes for 2016 provide consumers with even more reasons to consider Terrain as it continues to be a smart choice for customers seeking versatility, style, and technology.”
The 2016 GMC Terrain debut offered a glimpse at a variety of improvements, including new front and rear fascias, a power dome hood design, and a revised model lineup, which now includes SL, SLE-1, SLE-2, SLT, and Denali. With these new revisions and an endless number of available features, the five-seat Terrain is the perfect option for many consumers.
GMC will release pricing for the 2016 Terrain at a future time and the SUV is set to go on sale in the fall. Make sure you check back to Warsaw Buick GMC in the future for more information about the popular vehicle.
New features available in the 2015 GMC Terrain are making it easier than ever to stay connected on the go. There’s no need to get behind on social media or stop answering emails, when you can get an Internet connection from your car.
Not only does the 2015 Terrain have OnStar with 4G LTE, but also, it has an actual built-in Wi-Fi hotspot that comes standard with each model. That means nearby cell phones, tablets, and laptops will be able to connect to the vehicle’s Internet directly. If the car is on, so is the Internet.
Of course – no matter how tempting or easy it may be, drivers should never use their mobile devices while behind the wheel. But once you’re safely pulled over or have settled at a rest stop, there’s nothing stopping you.
Plus, two more exterior colors are now available for the 2015 Terrain: Dark Sapphire Blue Metallic and Cypress Green Metallic.
Whether you’re a workaholic who needs Internet at all times, or a camper who wants to stay connected in the wilderness, these 2015 Terrain features make it the perfect vehicle.
June has been a good month for GMC. First, it wins the top Popular Brand Award in AutoPacific’s Vehicle Satisfaction Awards and now it has earned awards for the Yukon and Terrain in J.D. Power’s Initial Quality Study.
The GMC Yukon took the top prize in the large SUV segment and the GMC Terrain came out on top in the compact SUV category.
“We are committed to the customer experience in everything we do at GMC, from the first visit to the dealership, to the drive home, or 10 years down the road,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Buick and GMC, in a statement. “This study demonstrates we are following through on our commitment to quality and to our consumers.”
J.D. Power based this year’s results on responses from more than 86,000 people after owning a new 2014 model year vehicle for 90 days. Respondents answered 233 questions about their cars, which will give automakers useful information to quickly identify problems and make improvements.
GMC vehicles have always had a reputation for great performance, sturdiness, and sustainability, and now they’re adding another card to their stacked deck—advanced technology. Starting this summer, the brand will start trotting out a lineup of 2015 models, many of which will be equipped with OnStar 4G LTE capabilities. The GMC Terrain and Terrain Denali will be the first 4G-capable vehicles to hit the market, followed by the Sierra, Sierra HD, Yukon, Yukon XL, and even the Canyon.
“This technology is a great feature for all of our customers,” said Duncan Aldred, U.S. vice president of Buick and GMC. “From those who use their Sierra or Yukon as a mobile office, to the families taking trips in any of our vehicles, they can enjoy the benefits of 4G LTE for work or play.”
The 4G technology allows you to set up a personal Wi-Fi spot in your car; once the Wi-Fi spot is active, you can connect up to seven different devices all at the same time. You’ll be able to download movies, send and receive email, play games, and much more, all while on the go in your comfortable, safe, and powerful GMC vehicle—so make sure to visit Warsaw Buick GMC this summer to find the perfect one for you.
